The Center for Neuroscience serves as a nodal administrative structure the purposes of which are to organize and foster the development of neuroscience research and teaching at CU聽色吧亚洲. The聽center faculty members聽are affiliated with 13 different聽departments and institutes聽at CU聽色吧亚洲. The Center for Neuroscience:聽
- Administers the CU聽色吧亚洲 Neuroscience PhD聽program
- Fosters interdisciplinary interdepartmental research and interaction
- Obtains both federal and corporate funds to support the development of neuroscience at CU聽色吧亚洲
- Acts as a focal point for interaction with the neuroscience community at large such as national organizations and programs at other universities
- Fosters interest in neuroscience among undergraduates at CU聽色吧亚洲
